Which Level 8 does this walkthrough cover?
To beat Level 8 in the Business Guy chapter, escape the opening spikes immediately, time your movement through the blades and walls, and stop for the collapsing floor near the finish. The opening requires speed, while later obstacles reward patience. Recognizing when to change your pace makes the route much easier to follow.
Happy Wheels includes separate eighth levels in the Business Guy and Effective Shopper chapters of its mobile app. This walkthrough covers the Business Guy route, which uses Segway Guy as its playable character.
| Mobile chapter | Playable character | Level identification |
|---|---|---|
| Business Guy | Segway Guy | Opens inside a large gray room with approaching spikes and a vertical boost |
| Effective Shopper | Effective Shopper | A separate eighth level belonging to the Effective Shopper chapter |
Check the chapter before following the instructions below. The Business Guy route contains descending steps with landmines, several groups of rotating blades, moving orange walls, and a finish reached through fans and a downward boost. Those landmarks identify the course covered here.

Escape the opening room and cross the mines
Start moving toward the vertical boost as soon as the level begins. A green sign behind your starting position points upward, and the boost is only a short distance away. Two sets of spikes close around the starting area, so waiting to study their movement can end the attempt before you escape.
The danger continues as you enter the boost: the spikes clamp together while it carries you upward. After you pass through the ceiling opening, a shorter boost pushes you right toward an orange ledge. That ledge gives way under your weight while remaining attached to the wall, allowing you to drop to the ground below.
Your opening trajectory can vary. Sometimes the second boost carries you beyond the orange ledge and directly toward the next obstacle. You do not need to return to the ledge if this happens; orient yourself around the explosives warning sign and the descending steps.
| Opening obstacle | What happens | How to respond |
|---|---|---|
| Closing spikes | Two spike sets converge near the starting point | Reach the vertical boost immediately |
| Upward and sideways boosts | The route carries you out through the ceiling and toward the right | Prepare for the landing beyond the room |
| Orange ledge | The attached platform swings aside under your weight | Continue after dropping |
| Descending steps | Multiple landmines occupy each step | Jump near each edge to clear the next mine group |
At the steps, use a repeated sequence:
- Approach the edge of the current step while watching the mines below.
- Jump just before the edge to carry yourself over the next group.
- Land on the following step and prepare to repeat the movement.
Simply dropping down the staircase risks touching a mine. An explosion can throw Segway Guy upward into the spikes overhead, making the ceiling part of the same trap.
Time your passage through the spinning blades
Beyond the steps, you reach a hole with a substantial drop. Two yielding platforms interrupt the fall before you reach the ground. These work like the orange platform near the beginning, breaking up the descent so you can reach the next section without taking the entire drop at once.
The route then continues right through rotating blade assemblies. Each consists of four cleavers turning around a moving center. Your opportunity comes when an assembly is high enough above the ground to leave room underneath. Watch the available clearance before moving forward; a blade pointing away momentarily does not necessarily make the whole passage safe.
Use the shelters between groups to divide this obstacle into smaller decisions:
- Wait for enough ground clearance beneath the first blade assembly.
- Pass the first two assemblies and enter the space under the long gray block.
- Use that shelter to watch the next group and choose your opening.
- Move through the next blades to the second gray block.
- Pause there until the final group leaves enough room to continue.
The first gray block is only a temporary shelter. If you remain underneath it too long, an orange arm extends and pushes you back out into the course. Use the pause to read the blades, then leave when a suitable opening appears.
Avoid treating the entire blade section as one continuous sprint. Each sheltered position gives you another chance to judge the moving hazards before committing to the next passage.

Clear the moving walls and avoid the pit traps
After the blades, a stop sign marks a jump across a hole and a landmine. A thin orange wall moves at the far side of the crossing. The jump therefore depends on both distance and timing: you need the far side to be clear when you arrive.
Watch the wall before launching. If it blocks your passage, it can interrupt the jump and leave you falling toward the mine or the hole. Touching the mine can send you into ceiling spikes, while falling into the hole activates a different trap.
| Hazard | What a failed crossing leads to | Route to continue |
|---|---|---|
| Mine beside the first crossing | An explosion can launch you into overhead spikes | Clear the mine during the jump |
| Hole near the first moving wall | A boost sends you into an upper room with two harpoon guns and two homing mines | Cross the hole while the wall permits passage |
| Holes along the later descent | Boosts carry you into a confined room with crushing spring platforms | Stay on the descending route and clear its gaps |
Once you pass the first wall, a second moving orange wall follows. Read its movement separately rather than assuming the opening that worked for the first wall will also work here. Continue when its position allows you through.
The route then passes a horizontal spike set and another hole before heading downhill. Additional gaps interrupt the descent. Keep looking ahead for the next break in the ground so that clearing one obstacle does not carry you unprepared into another.
The boosts inside these later holes are traps, not shortcuts. They funnel you toward a cramped room where multiple spring platforms push and crush the character. The useful path stays above those boosts, following the slope across its gaps until the ground becomes level.
Use the collapsing floor to reach the finish
When the ground flattens out, follow the slow sign and reduce your pace. A stop sign appears next, with two rotating spike sets beyond it. Stop at this warning instead of continuing toward the spinning hazards.
The ground beneath you collapses, dropping you onto a fan. This begins the final transport sequence. The first fan blows you upward, another pushes you right, and a vertical boost directs you down onto the finish line.
| Finish landmark | What happens next |
|---|---|
| Slow sign | You approach the final stopping area |
| Stop sign before rotating spikes | The floor beneath the player collapses |
| Fan below the floor | The player is blown upward |
| Second fan | The player is pushed to the right |
| Downward boost | The player is directed onto the finish line |
This ending reverses the lesson of the opening room. At the start, hesitation lets the spikes close around you. Near the finish, stopping allows the floor mechanism to deliver you into the intended route. Use the signs to recognize that change in pace.
FAQ
Which chapter does this happy wheels level 8 guide cover?
This guide covers the eighth level of the Business Guy chapter in the Happy Wheels mobile app. Its playable character is Segway Guy. Effective Shopper also has an eighth level, but it is a separate course and should not be confused with this route.
Do I have to land on the first orange ledge?
No. Depending on your position and speed through the opening boosts, the sideways boost may carry you beyond the orange ledge toward the mine section. If you bypass it, continue toward the descending steps rather than trying to return.
Why do I hit ceiling spikes at the steps?
The landmines can launch you upward into the spiked ceiling. The recommended crossing is to jump just before each step ends, clear the following group of mines, and land on the next step before repeating.
Can I wait safely beneath the gray blocks?
The blocks provide places to pause between blade groups, but the first shelter has a time limit imposed by its mechanism. An orange arm eventually extends from that block and forces you out. Watch for a usable opening while you are sheltered.
Should I jump over the last rotating spikes?
The intended finish route begins beneath the stop sign before those spikes. Stop and let the floor collapse. The fans then carry you upward and right toward the downward boost that sends you onto the finish line.
